For the Crust

ready-made pie crusts (for a deep-dish pan)

melted butter

For the Filling

shredded mozzarella cheese
divided

Italian sausage

pepperoni slices

pizza sauce or marinara

shredded cheddar or provolone cheese

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place one pie crust in a deep-dish pie pan.
In a skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
Layer half the mozzarella cheese, cooked meat, half the pepperoni, pizza sauce, cheddar or provolone cheese, and seasonings in the pie crust.
Top with the remaining mozzarella and pepperoni. Cover with the second pie crust, sealing the edges.
Brush the top crust with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
Bake for 35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Notes
Let the pie cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with a side salad if desired.
