Ingredients
  

For the Sauce

  • 4 Tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • ½ Tablespoon sesame seed oil
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce

For the Rice

  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil divided
  • 1 red bell pepper diced (ribs and seeds removed)
  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 2 green onions diced (divide the white and green parts of the onions)
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 5 cups cold, cooked white rice
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup pineapple pieces

Instructions
 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and white parts of green onions, and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Stir in red bell pepper and ham, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Add cold rice, pineapple, soy sauce, sesame oil, and hot sauce. Stir well to combine.
  • Push the rice to one side of the wok. Crack the eggs into the empty space and scramble until cooked.
  • Mix the scrambled eggs into the rice, and add the green parts of the green onions. Serve hot.

Notes

You can customize this recipe by adding vegetables like peas or carrots. Adjust the amount of hot sauce based on your spice preference.
