For the Chicken

thin-sliced boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)

salsa verde
Trader Joe’s recommended

olive oil

tablespoons
lime juice

teaspoon
cumin

teaspoon
salt
or more, to taste
1
teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper
4
slices
pepper Jack cheese
or as desired
For Garnishing
Fresh cilantro, finely minced
optional
Lime wedges
optional, for serving
Instructions
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
In a bowl, mix salsa verde, olive oil, lime juice, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Coat the chicken breasts with the mixture.
Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
Top each chicken breast with a slice of pepper Jack cheese during the last minute of grilling.
Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges if desired.
Notes
You can broil the chicken in the oven if you don’t have a grill.
