Grandma’s Snowballs Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup finely chopped pecans

For rolling

  • extra powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually mix in flour and pecans.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until set but not browned.
  • Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
  • Cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
