Grandma’s Snowballs Cookies
Classic snowball cookies with a buttery, nutty flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup finely chopped pecans
For rolling
- extra powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in flour and pecans.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until set but not browned.
- Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
- Cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again.

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
