Ingredients
  

For the Sloppy Joe Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef can substitute with turkey
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

For Serving

  • 6 buns hamburger buns

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to a crockpot. Add ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and garlic powder. Stir well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
  • Serve the sloppy joe mixture on hamburger buns.

Notes

You can add chopped bell peppers or other spices for extra flavor.
