Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 ½ cups chopped toasted pecans divided
  • 1 package devil's food cake mix regular size
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Spread coconut and 1 cup pecans evenly in the bottom of the pan.
  • In a bowl, combine cake mix, cream cheese, melted butter, vanilla extract, and confectioners' sugar. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour batter over the coconut and pecan layer. Sprinkle with remaining pecans and chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
