Garlic Butter Beef Bowl

Ingredients
  

For the Rice

  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice

For the Beef Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 3 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • salt and pepper as needed
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional

Instructions
 

  • Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions are soft.
  • Stir in the milk, cheddar, Parmesan, beef broth, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add the butter and stir until melted. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve the beef mixture over the cooked rice. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
