Garlic Butter Beef Bowl

For the Rice
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
For the Beef Mixture
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small diced onion
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 3 cups low-sodium beef broth
- salt and pepper as needed
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley optional
Cook the rice according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onions are soft.
Stir in the milk, cheddar, Parmesan, beef broth, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the butter and stir until melted. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Serve the beef mixture over the cooked rice. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
