Rinse before cooking to prevent clumping.

Instructions
In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until they are soft and caramelized.
Add minced garlic and chopped thyme to the onions. Stir for about a minute until fragrant.
Add Arborio rice to the pan and stir until the rice is well coated with the butter and onion mixture.
Pour in the chicken broth gradually, stirring frequently. Cook until the rice is creamy and tender, about 20 minutes.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
You can add more herbs or spices according to your taste.
