Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips

For Decoration

  • Colored sprinkles or pastel candy-coated chocolate eggs for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the salt, vanilla extract, and eggs, mixing well. Gradually add the flour mixture and chocolate chips, stirring until combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Decorate with colored sprinkles or chocolate eggs.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden. Let them cool before serving.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh. You can customize the decorations based on your preference.
