Ingredients
  

For the Loaf

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup butter, melted

For the Glaze

  • ½ cup powdered sugar for glaze
  • Pinch cinnamon for glaze

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with a pinch of cinnamon and drizzle over the cooled loaf.

Notes

For a stronger cinnamon flavor, add more ground cinnamon to the batter or glaze.
