Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread the apple pie filling evenly in a baking dish.
Sprinkle the lemon juice, vanilla extract, and apple pie spice over the apple pie filling.
Spread the butter cake mix evenly over the apple pie filling.
Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a richer dessert.
