Dollywood Cinnamon Bread with Icing

Ingredients
  

Bread Dough

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Icing

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together.
  • Roll out the thawed bread dough and brush it with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
  • Roll the dough tightly and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • While the bread is cooling, prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Drizzle the icing over the warm bread before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add more cinnamon to the sugar mixture.
