  • 1 pre-baked pie crust store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly jiggly.
  • Let cool before serving.
