Crispy Chicken Wonton Tacos

A fusion dish combining crispy wonton shells with teriyaki chicken and coleslaw.

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil divided
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

For the Coleslaw

  • 2 cups coleslaw mix (cabbage and carrots)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey

For Assembly

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoon chopped cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken slices in teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and half of the sesame oil for at least 10 minutes.
  • Cook the marinated chicken in a pan with the remaining sesame oil until fully cooked.
  • Toss the coleslaw mix with green onions, rice vinegar, and honey.
  • Cook the wonton wrappers in a lightly oiled pan until crispy.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing chicken and coleslaw on the wontons, then drizzle with sweet chili sauce.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro.

Notes

Serve immediately to maintain crispiness.
