Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts Tender and juicy
  • 1 cup buttermilk For tenderizing the chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

For Assembly

  • 4 sandwich rolls (ciabatta or brioche)
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • Extra Parmesan cheese for garnish Optional

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a shallow dish, mix flour, panko breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce to make the sandwich sauce.
  • Slice the rolls and spread the sauce on both sides. Layer with romaine lettuce, crispy chicken, and Caesar dressing. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double-coat the chicken by dipping it back into the buttermilk and flour mixture before frying.
