For the Dough

  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast Leavens the dough.
  • 160 ml warm water Activates the yeast.
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil Adds richness.

For the Topping

  • 100 g pizza sauce Brings flavor and moisture.
  • 150 g shredded mozzarella cheese Melts into gooey perfection.
  • 50 g pepperoni slices Adds spicy flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano Adds an herby lift.
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes Adds a subtle heat kick.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for skillet Creates a nonstick barrier.

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Stir to mix.
  • Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the cast iron skillet over medium heat with olive oil.
  • Roll out the dough and place it in the hot skillet.
  • Add pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni, oregano, and red pepper flakes on top.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is crispy.
