Ingredients
  

For Air Fryer Cod

  • 2 fillets Cod Fillets Choose 1-inch thick fillets for the best texture. Thawed if using frozen.
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Avocado Oil For brushing the cod fillets.
  • to taste teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste for seasoning.
  • to taste teaspoon Pepper Adds a little kick to balance the flavors.
  • to taste tablespoon Seasoning Use Old Bay, Cajun, or Lemon Pepper seasoning based on your preference.

For the Dipping Sauce (optional)

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise Forms the base of the tartar sauce.
  • 2 tablespoon Pickles or Sweet Pickle Relish Adds a tangy flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice For a fresh, citrusy zing.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon or Yellow Mustard Gives the sauce a slight tang.
  • 1 clove Garlic For extra flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Brush the cod fillets with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and your choice of seasoning.
  • Place the seasoned fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the cod is cooking, mix the mayonnaise, pickles, lemon juice, mustard, and minced garlic in a bowl to create the dipping sauce.
  • Serve the cod fillets with the dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

You can customize the dipping sauce by adding herbs or spices to suit your taste.
