Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine

Sauce

  • 1 cup ripe tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add diced tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine.
  • Stir in chopped basil and season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add grated cheese on top for extra flavor.
