Ingredients
  

For the Pasta

  • 300 g penne pasta

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, thinly sliced

For the Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Cook the penne pasta in a large pot according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Stir in the ricotta cheese, heavy cream, grated Parmesan, dried Italian herbs, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

You can add vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
