Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts trimmed

For Cooking

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup pepperoncini juice from the jar
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers about 10-12 peppers
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for added heat

For Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add chicken broth, pepperoncini juice, and sliced pepperoncini peppers. Bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

You can adjust the level of heat by adding more or less red pepper flakes. Serve with rice or pasta for a complete meal.
