Ingredients
  

For the Beef

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

For the Pasta

  • 8 oz medium pasta shells

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  • Stir in the beef broth and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • Combine the cooked pasta shells with the beef sauce. Mix until well coated.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
