Cream Cheese Chicken Taquitos

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 small flour tortillas
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, Mexican cheese blend, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread about 2 tablespoons of filling onto each tortilla.
  • Roll tortillas tightly around the filling.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry taquitos seam-side down until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve warm with optional garnishes.

Notes

For crispier taquitos, fry in batches to avoid overcrowding the skillet.
