Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the streusel topping. Mix well and stir in pecans if using. Set aside.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon for the batter.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light. Add the egg, egg white, bananas, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla extract, and egg yolk. Mix until smooth.
Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon cream cheese filling over it, then top with remaining batter.
Sprinkle the streusel topping over the batter.
Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before glazing.
To make the glaze, mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled banana bread.
