Peeled and deveined.

Instructions
In a large pot, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and carrots. Sauté until soft.
Add garlic and cook for another minute. Stir in tomato paste and flour, cooking for 2 minutes.
Slowly add the broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer.
Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink. Then, add the crab meat, heavy cream, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, and bay leaf.
Simmer for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
Serve hot, garnished with parsley or chives. Add lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
You can substitute the crab with more shrimp or other seafood if needed.
