- 1 can 28 oz Bush’s Baked Beans
- ½ pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon onion & herb seasoning
- ¼ cup minced onions
- ½ cup chopped onions
- ½ cup chopped green bell peppers
- Optional: ½ cup cooked bacon bits
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley shredded cheddar cheese, green onions
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
Add minced and chopped onions and green bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, seasoning, and any optional spices.
Add baked beans, stir well, and bring to a simmer.
Simmer uncovered for 15–20 minutes. Add bacon bits if using.
Serve warm or transfer to a baking dish. Optional: top with cheese and bake at 350°F for 10–15 minutes.
