Ingredients
For the Candy

oranges or tangelos
about 18–20 slices
For the Syrup

cups
granulated sugar

cups
water
Instructions
Slice the oranges or tangelos into 18–20 slices.
In a pot, combine the sugar and water. Heat until the sugar dissolves and bring to a boil.
Add the orange slices to the boiling syrup and cook for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Remove the slices and let them cool on a wire rack until set.
Notes
You can store the orange candy in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
