Ingredients
  

  • 3 overripe mashed bananas
  • 4 tablespoon melted vegan butter
  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cup regular or gluten free all purpose flour
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoon melted vegan butter for cinnamon swirl
  • cup light brown sugar for cinnamon swirl
  • 2 tablespoon cinnamon for cinnamon swirl
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar for frosting
  • 2 tablespoon melted vegan butter for frosting
  • 2 oz softened vegan cream cheese for frosting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted vegan butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, flour, and oats. Stir until combined.
  • Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
  • Mix melted vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the swirl. Spread half over the batter.
  • Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon swirl mixture.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool the bread before frosting.
  • For the frosting, mix powdered sugar, melted vegan butter, and softened cream cheese. Spread over the cooled bread.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use overripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • Check for doneness with a toothpick before removing from the oven.
  • Let the bread cool completely before frosting to prevent melting.
