Instructions
Combine granulated sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Bring the mixture to a boil. Use a candy thermometer to check the temperature until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon extract and food coloring if using.
Pour the mixture onto a greased baking sheet. Let it cool completely, then break into pieces.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
This candy can be stored in an airtight container for several weeks.
