For the Dough

all-purpose flour

granulated sugar

packet (2 ¼ teaspoons)
instant yeast

cup
warm water
½
cup
unsalted butter
at room temperature

teaspoon
salt
For the Sugar Coating
½
cup
granulated sugar
2
teaspoons
ground cinnamon
For the Filling [optional]

cup
dulce de leche
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, instant yeast, salt, and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough and spread softened butter over it.
Roll the dough into a log and cut into pieces. Place each piece into a muffin tin.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Mix sugar and cinnamon for coating.
Remove from oven, cool slightly, and coat with the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
If using, fill with dulce de leche before serving.
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness by varying the sugar in the coating.
