Ingredients
  

Cheesecake Filling

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract or almond extract

Pastry Shell

  • 1 package Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough or puff pastry for more flakiness

Topping

  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon or mix with nutmeg
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar for mixing with cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven according to the crescent roll dough instructions.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into small squares. Place a spoonful of cheesecake filling in the center of each square.
  • Fold the corners of the dough over the filling and seal. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake according to the dough instructions until golden brown.
  • Mix the granulated sugar with ground cinnamon and sprinkle over the warm bites.

Notes

For an extra twist, try adding a dash of nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mix.
