Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, cream cheese, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Gradually add the yellow cake mix to the wet ingredients, mixing until fully incorporated.
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, then coat each ball in powdered sugar.
Place the coated balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and immediately decorate with red and green sprinkles.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
