Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

For the Brownie Coating

  • 1 box brownie mix (about 15 oz) or homemade brownie batter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips for melting

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add vanilla, flour, and salt, and mix until combined. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Shape the cookie dough into small balls and chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions and dip each cookie dough ball into the brownie batter. Bake as directed or until the brownie set.

Notes

Let the brownie bombs cool before serving. You can use store-bought brownie mix or make your own from scratch.
