Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, maple extract, brown sugar, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
Add the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
Fold in the white chocolate melting wafers.
Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, drizzle melted white chocolate over the cooled cookies.
