Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package frozen French fries about 20 oz, crinkle-cut or regular
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or American cheese for a more classic taste
  • ½ cup diced onions optional
  • ½ cup pickles diced, optional for a true cheeseburger flavor
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder optional
  • fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the French fries package.
  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the diced onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook until onions are soft.
  • Stir in the ketchup, mustard, milk, and mayonnaise until well combined.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  • Arrange the frozen French fries on top of the beef mixture.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the French fries.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the French fries are crispy and the cheese is melted, about 20-25 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce or diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
