Ingredients
  

For the Bread

  • 3 small Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and diced small (about 2 cups)
  • ½ cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick / room temperature)
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • ½ cup whole milk room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

For Drizzling

  • ¼ cup caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and eggs until light and fluffy.
  • Add the milk and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the apple mixture until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container. This bread is best enjoyed fresh.
