For the Filling

apple pie filling

ground cinnamon

ground nutmeg
For the Cake

Kraft caramels, unwrapped and cut in half

dry yellow cake mix

cup
butter, cut into ¼ inch thick pats
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a baking dish, layer the apple pie filling. Sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg over the filling.
Evenly distribute the caramels on top of the apple filling.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the caramels.
Place the pats of butter evenly on top of the cake mix.
Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream for added sweetness.
