For the Apples

apples peeled and cut into ½ inch cubes

For the Cobbler Mixture

For the Sauce

brown sugar

hot water
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the apple cubes, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well and set aside.
In another bowl, mix together the self-rising flour, granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the apple mixture into a baking dish, then pour the cobbler mixture over the apples evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar with hot water until dissolved. Pour this sauce over the cobbler.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm with ice cream for an extra treat.
