Ingredients
  

For the Base

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg

For the Topping

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup toffee bits (such as Heath Bits)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Mix until well combined.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the base.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips and toffee bits over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let them cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars can be stored in an airtight container for several days. You can also add nuts for extra crunch.
