For the Pickling Mixture

For the Brussels Sprouts

Instructions
In a pot, combine vinegar, water, sugar, Cajun seasoning, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, red pepper flakes, and salt. Bring to a boil.
Add Brussels sprouts, jalapeños, and garlic to the pot. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour the mixture into jars and let cool. Garnish with fresh thyme or dill.
Notes
These pickles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
