For the Sauce

pineapple chunks with juice

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple with juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and simmer for a few minutes.
If desired, thicken the sauce with cornstarch mixed with water.
Garnish with red pepper flakes and chopped green onions, then serve.
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
