Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

A simple casserole with rice, broccoli, cheese, and chicken.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10 ounce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10 ounce
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small white onion chopped
  • 16 ounces broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in rice and reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, shredded chicken, butter, milk, onion, and broccoli florets.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Notes

Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving.
