Ingredients
  

For the Truffle Base

  • 2 cups high-quality white chocolate chips Use brands like Ghirardelli or Guittard for smooth texture.
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream 35% fat content essential, do not substitute.
  • 2 tablespoons blue curaçao liqueur Adds color and citrus flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract Pure vanilla enhances the white chocolate.

For the Coating

  • ½ cup blue sanding sugar Creates stunning sparkle and crunch.
  • Alternative coatings Powdered sugar, shredded coconut, or cocoa powder.

Instructions
 

  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  • Once melted, stir in the heavy whipping cream, blue curaçao, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Chill the mixture in the refrigerator until firm, about 2 hours.
  • Once firm, scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
  • Roll the truffles in blue sanding sugar or your choice of alternative coatings.
  • Place the truffles on a baking sheet and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
