For the Crust

cups
all purpose flour
⅔
cup
granulated sugar
1
cup
unsalted butter, softened
½
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
For the Filling
2
cups
fresh blackberries
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until crumbly.
Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the baking dish to form the crust.
Spread the fresh blackberries evenly over the crust.
Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the blackberries.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature. You can add a scoop of ice cream on top for extra flavor.
