Ingredients
  

Brownie Layer

  • ½ cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Banana Pudding Layer

  • 1 box Instant banana pudding mix
  • 2 cups Cold milk

Topping Layer

  • 1 container Whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
  • 1 cup Vanilla wafers, crushed
  • optional Banana slices (for serving, not storage)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, melt the unsalted butter and mix in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • Stir in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Pour this batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • While the brownies bake, prepare the banana pudding layer by whisking together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk until it thickens.
  • Once the brownies have cooled, spread the banana pudding mixture over the top.
  • Top with whipped topping and crushed vanilla wafers. Add banana slices if desired before serving.

Notes

These brownies can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. They taste best when chilled.
