Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
Place the bread chunks in a greased baking dish and pour the egg mixture over the bread. Ensure all pieces are soaked.
Chop the bananas and layer them on top of the soaked bread mixture.
For the streusel topping, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the bananas.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the egg mixture is set.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
You can substitute different types of bread or add nuts to the streusel for extra texture.
