Ingredients
  

Vegetables

  • 1 small head green cabbage finely shredded
  • 1 small head purple cabbage finely shredded
  • 2 pieces carrots grated
  • 1 piece red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 3 pieces green onions chopped
  • ½ cup cilantro leaves chopped

Dressing

  • ¼ cup sesame seeds toasted
  • ½ cup rice vinegar
  • cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage, purple cabbage, carrots, red bell pepper, green onions, and cilantro leaves.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

This slaw is best served fresh. You can adjust the ingredients based on your preference.
