Ingredients
  

For the Biscuit Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • ¾ cup milk

For the Filling

  • 2 cups apple pie filling
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar for dusting to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until just combined.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently. Roll out to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
  • Place half of the rounds on a baking sheet. Spoon apple pie filling onto each and sprinkle with cinnamon. Top with remaining rounds.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

You can use store-bought apple pie filling for convenience.
