- 1 dough for a single-crust pie
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 medium baking apples peeled and sliced (½-inch slices)
- Crumb Topping:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup butter softened
- Finishing Touch:
- ¼ to ½ cup caramel ice cream topping or caramel apple dip
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the pie crust into a ¼-inch thick round and place on a pizza pan or baking sheet.
In a bowl, mix sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Toss with apple slices until well coated.
