Dough

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed

Filling

  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples peeled and diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
  • In a bowl, mix the diced apples with cream cheese, sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry square.
  • Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and brush with egg wash.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving for extra sweetness.
