Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped apples peeled and cored
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 –2 tablespoons milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Fold in the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  • Add chopped apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
  • Cool brownies completely before glazing.
  • For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
  • Drizzle glaze over brownies. Let it set before serving.

Notes

  • Use firm apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith.
  • Adjust milk in glaze for desired consistency.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
